30 minutes by car is the pretty little village of Chiny, next to the Semois river. Several walks in Chiny start from the pier and the beautiful bridge crossing the Semois.
The hike is going through the beautiful forests and the superb rock of Hat offering a splendid view of the Semois. Remember to stop there for a snack!
The hike is 7 km lenght and needs a little less than 2 hours of walking. Be careful, you will have to cross the river during one of the two crossings above the Semois. It's always funny ;-) So plan a small towel, and make sure the water level is not too high!
Great route in any season, but even more beautiful in the fall!
